What I’ve thought of so far – let me know if there is stuff missing (bear in mind that the Individual Kit will have any items which every person will need like helmets etc, and that limited restocking will be possible on route (cycle shops, supermarkets etc).

• 1x 6-man tent. Make sure you can waterproof your panniers to be left outside!
• 1x Bike tool inc. chain breaker
• 3x Inner tube
• 1x (big) puncture repair kit inc. tyre levers.
• 1x bicycle pump
• 1x 3-in-1 oil
• 2x stove (cooking for 5 means one will be a little limited)
• 4x spare fuel canisters for stoves (we can potentially restock these as we go if need be)
• 1x First aid kit – extra stuff includes foot powder, compeed and stuff for a couple of big grazes.
• 1x Water purification and neutralisation tablets
• Food. This will need discussion!
• Handheld GPS could be handy, if someone has one, or a tomtom or something if we get lost.
• Wind-up phone charger could also be useful.
